When the valley closes

In late October the fog settles into the valley and some days does not lift at all. From the Fire Pool you can see about forty metres. Most guests say it is the best week of the year.

The November week

Each November the outdoor pool is drained for five days so the stone can be cleaned and the inlet checked. The indoor pools stay open, and sessions run as normal. The dates are always posted on the notice at the top of this site a month in advance.

Snow

The road to Vallorsca is cleared by 06:00 on snow days. If it is not, the front desk will call anyone booked for the first session before they leave home.
